Applying the AIoT system to evaluate
the natural carbon sink
We collaborate with National Chung Hsing University to propose the framework for our country's forest carbon sink estimation system. Through the integration of AIOT devices, along with the utilization of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) imagery data and deep image recognition, we are dedicated to creating an integrated carbon sink estimation service platform for the public.
REAL-TIME Forest Carbon Sink Calculation
Our process design is meticulously crafted to ensure accuracy and efficiency in real-time carbon sink calculations. From data collection through AIOT devices to the utilization of UAV imagery for detailed insights, our solution sets the stage for a transformative approach to forest carbon sink estimation.
Facing persistent challenges of illegal logging and frequent forest fires in Taiwan's mountainous regions, the current solutions fall short due to manpower shortages, nighttime tracking difficulties, and the lack of automated alert systems. In response, our project introduces a Forest Monitoring System that integrates modern technologies to address these issues. By combining sound recognition, artificial intelligence, and IoT, we establish an advanced monitoring and alert system to safeguard our precious forest resources.
